What I learned over the last marking period.

This last marking peroid of english class has been different than my entire pervious years. In my last three years attending this school, english class usually composed of reading a classic or modern novel finding the point or moral of the story, and finding way the text could relate to us. This last marking period, has been different in that, we has gone back to breaking apart and studying parts of sentances we use in english. I have learned about the exsistance of dependent and independent clauses. We have gone back over the use of puncuation, learned about phrases, and the acronym F.A.N.B.O.Y.S.. We are now going over close reading, which in litature means that we read over a segment of text several time in order to try to uderstand both the literal and metaphorical meaning.
