Well what we read in English class was a story called "The Lottery", It was by Shirley Jackson. It was a summertime event it started on the 27th of June.It was a nice and sunny day where it was a lot of people getting ready for the lottery.The students just got done school and now its there summer vacation. So now people are getting everything out the way so they can have space for the lottery. Some people already dropped out of the lottery. But why drop out the lottery? So on lottery day some people where getting ready some people where late but Mr.Graves Handled the tickets with the names on them. Long story short Tessie won and then where killed.
