well the story the lottery was about a town game that happens every year. the game happens all over the little world they live in. the game is played with slips of paper an everyone on in the town participates, no matter the age of or male or female. all the kid in the town have to collect rocks an make a big pile where they have the lottery at. the lottery has been played for along time no one in the town knows how long or why but they still keep the tradition going. everybody in the town has to walk up in alphabetical order an draw a slip of paper an not look at it till everyone is done. they unfold there paper an the Peron with the dot on there slip of paper has to bring there family up an they they all have to draw again. the one with the black dot is the one that is going to get stoned to death.
