The Lottery

This story is about a small village that was starting a lottery june 2th. This village only had about two to three hundred people. The lottery took less than two hrs so the people could get home before dinner started . The children packed their pockets with stones and made a great pile of stones and one coener of the square and guarded it against the raids of the other boys. The girls stood aside talkin to eachother look at what the boys are up to. They stood together away from the pile of stones in the corner and the joke were quite and they smiled rather than laughed. the orignal paraphernalia for the lottery had been lost long ago and the black box now resting on the stool had been put into use even before old man warner, the oldest man in town was born. mr summers spoke frequentil to the villagers about making a new box but no one like to upset even as much tradition as was represented by the black box. During this lottery there was some killing action and other things going on mrs. hutchinson had died at the end of the story . This lottery was a dangerous cost in this small village i dont  think they should have another lottery gathering anymore.

  1. It seems like you just copied some of this from the story itself. You're more original than that. Give it another shot.
