Get Stoned

Well its a story about a town that has this little thing called the lottery, but this is a different lottery then the one you and I are used to. In this lottery, There is a big town meeting, every single person picks out a small folded piece of paper, all of the pieces are blank except for one, the one that's not blank has a black dot on it and who ever picks that one gets the pleasure of being stoned, by stoned i mean every other person in the town picks up stones that are large enough to hurt someone, after they retrieve these stones, they throw them repeatedly at the person who picked the piece of paper with the black dot on it, til' their dead. In this story there is talk of how the lottery is being banned n some places and how some other towns have stopped doing this, this town continues to do it though because the mayor decided he likes it so why wouldn't he continue? Well this story focus' on a women named Ms. Hutchinson, she shows up late to the town meeting for the lottery, while shes there she tends to act silly, goof around and act very friendly towards everyone. Well it just so happens that she is the "lucky" lady that draws the piece of paper with the black dot on it. Now, yes she is stoned to death, but the funny twist about it is how nice she is, but as soon as she picks this paper everyone turns on her faster then you could blink !
