the lottery is a story was about a village that had a yearly lottery. it was a small population of about 300 people and they were talking about a black box and they were being really secret about the black box.theyuy would keep it stored in one place.then one guy drew a dot on a piece of paper and when that piece of paaper was drawn that person would ''win''. but really they dont really win bc in the end they get stoned to death.
