Thanksgiving Story

Most people who enjoy spending time with their family and friends enjoy Thanksgiving. Simply because Thanksgiving is a holiday for you to bring your family close. People who you dont get to see that much come and you all get together bringing different types of foods. Everyone sits at the table and enjoy all the different types of food that their family members bring to the table. For me its the same, we all get together every year at my house. My mom cooks all the food such as turkey, stuffing, bake macoroni and cheese, collard greens, dinner rolls, sweet potatoes, etc. In many house holds one of the main dishes for Thanksgiving dinner is turkey other people may cook roast beef, ham, or even both. For dessert you could also have many different options, one of my favorites is apple pie. The true meaning of Thanksgiving to me is the time you get to sit down with your family members, eat, and just spend quality time with each other. Some people say Thanksgiving is their favorite holiday because of the food. I agree with them but I also enjoy the quality time I get to have with some of my family members who I dont get to see every day.
