The story "The Lottery" was about these villengers they had a tradition that was passed down. They were not the only town that had done "the lottery". Other towns had stop doing it because they aint believe it was right.


Well in the story it was based on back of the day. Every year on the 27th of June, the villager wwould all gather around in this square. It would take about two hours or two days to complete "the Lottery" depending on the size of the village.Mothr,fathers,daugters,brother,and extended family would be at the square. The thing was held by some man named Mr. Summers.
