The Lottery Retold...

Alright my friends let me tell you about this story that i read in English class 2 days ago! It was about this Lottery in this small village that only had 200 people living there. Every June 27th they would have a lottery and they would have to wait hours to get ther papers. But the other towns had to wait about 20-28 hours for there names to be called and also a small percent had to wait 2 days because of how big the towns were. So anyway they go to the meeting after everybody was waiting for there names to be called. So everybody was at the meeting for the lottery except one person came late...Her name was Mrs. Hutchingson. Once after she appeared she took a seat and waited for to be called on. So when everyone got called on they had to open these small pieces of paper. They found out it was Bill Hutchingson and Mrs. Hutchingson starts complaining saying that they didnt give him enough time to get his paper. so they redid it for the hutchingson family and the Mrs. hutchingson opened the piece of paper and found out she won the Lottery. So they said they have to finish and they dont remember the ritual but they do remember they got to use stones. she got hit in the head and before she died her last words were this is not fair, this isn't right.
