Well some stories are like that,sometimes just for the drama. But, drama is wat makes stories and movies,stories and movies. So the reasons why they did wat they did is because, it will make the story more veg so when the end of the story hits your not really expecting what happens . Now i understand why over those years why people dropped out of the lottery.
