The story the lottery is a story about a few countries that follow this tradition called the lottery where u basically draw ticket like cards and gain a prize from it. As the story goes on we meet a lot of interesting people in the story but for some reason a married couple named the hutinchsons where very important especially mrs.hutchinson she was described as one of the most detailed character in the story let’s see what happens to these characters.
So the tradition is being followed like every year now and many are following but for some reason there are people from other countries backing down from this tradition and at this point everyone is confused on why is it that people are not following the tradition but no one really thinks of making time to find out why. Most people are still just going on with the traditional game even mrs.hutchinsons kids are cooperating in it except mrs.hutchinson baby, and as the time goes on and the game comes closer to a end people began to really be determined to win so there going for the announced winner and that person was assumed to be bill Hutchinson everyone thought but all of a sudden changed scoured and Mrs. Hutchinson drew a card and it turned out she was the winner, but what was on the card is what mattered, and what mrs.hutchinson had was a dot of some sort; and the meaning of that dot meant to be stoned and as that happened the stones were thrown and mrs.hutchinson was murdered.
Now remember the traditional game was similar to the lottery so why did someone get stoned the mystery is unfound
