As I arrive in Winston’s apartment, it is definitely a sight to see. It doesn’t look very lively, or seem as though it has any life to it. It could use much more color. It was more like a house, and not a home. Then, I looked to my left and saw an odd screen coming from his ceiling. The weird thing about it was that it had a strange intimidating man with a mustache like Hitler. He seemed to be staring directly at me! I really started to get creeped out when I ran to another room, and there he was again looking at me through his television screen in his bedroom. I also saw a little table in his living room, with a chair. On the table there was a diary, however when I went to looked at it Winston sprang to his feet and absolutely would not let me open it, let alone touch it. He had this scared look on his face, than he looked at the screen with big brother on it, weird. When I went in his bedroom and looked out the window I could see the whole town. However, one thing caught my eye. There was a row of four tall buildings that glittered in the light as if they were made of gold. I was in awe. Unfortunately, it seemed as if nobody else was in awe. Everybody just seemed to be walking past it, as if it weren’t even there. I don’t like this apartment, town, or place that Winston lives in. I’m going home immediately.
