Symbols In 1984

One of the symbols in 1984 that I've decided to describe was the ministry building. The passage said ' It was an enormous pyramidal structure of glittering white concrete, soaring up, terrace after terrace, and 300 meters into the air. The literal meaning of this passage is the glittering white concrete that made the building stand out. The effect of symbolism was how the whiteness and the glitter of the building was glowing. This means that this particular building wasn't any ordinary building it stood out from all the others this building was powerful. They also stated that the lettering on the building were elegant. The three slogans of the party was WAR IS PEACE FREEDOM IS SLAVERY AND IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. All this slogans had different meanings to them.

I also decided to describe the passage about the VICTORY GIN. In the passage they stated that the stuff was like nitric acid and moreover in swallowing it one had the sensation of being hit on the back of the head with a rubber club. The literal meaning of this passage was the GIN and the fact that it was too strong for him to swallow it. This VICTORY GIN represents a burning sensation because he mentions that its like nitric acid.
