SOPA

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is a United States bill to expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement to fight online illegal dealing and selling in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. It was requesting by the court orders to advertise networks and payment facilities from conducting business with infringing websites and from linking to other sites.Court orders requiring Internet service providers to block access to the sites. The law would expand existing criminal laws to include unauthorized streaming of copyright material, imposing a maximum penalty of five years in prison. The Stop Online Policy Act relates to 1984. Based on 1984, even though they do not have a computer or the internet they can still do other things that are illegal pretaining to what is done in the United States. One purpose of The Stop Online Piracy Act is to stop people have put private and inapproicate things online, for example, facebook, myspace,twitter,etc. In 1984 they are not allowed to express the way they feel in anyway whether it be writing to yourself, having a diary, or having a conversation with someone about something other then something dealing with worshiping big brother could get you in a lot of trouble. That is why there is telecreens every where to make no one is doing anything illegal including, thoughtcrime, ownlife, etc. When you got caught or in trouble you were arrested, placed in jail, then tortured, and eventually it would lead to death.Once, dead you were removed from everything were it be a list, what people remembered about you,basically, VAPORIZED.
