"Sold" climax

To me the Climax of the story is when Lakshmi is waiting for her American Cop to come and save her,she waits and waits packs her things but no one comes its to the point where she starts to think she seeing him or hears him when she looks back.Then Mumtaz finds out someone be trade her and people who betrey her get punished so she gets a burning hot chilley paste thats put on a stick and punshes them.Lakshmi noticed she was preparing it and started to get parnored when Mumtaz started comeing towards Lakshmi she started begging for forgivness and Mumtaz just kicked her down and moved on Lakshmi was relieved that it wasnt here.It was one of the other girls and they wer punished for recieving a gift from one of the customers and thats forbieden.When Mumtaz was done with her she came towards Lakshmi and said did you do anything to disobey me and she was stuck she put her foot and her head and pushed all her wait on her and Mumtaz asked again did you do anything to disobey me,Lakshmi finally replied and denied it all.So Mumtaz Llet her go and she was full of relief but was in pain as well.To me thats the climax of the story it was almost towards the end of the story but it was the most important part because if Mumtaz didnt believed her about not being disobeyed she would of gotten beating bad and would have to confess about her American and her plan to be saved would of failed so she would been stuck there or even worse.
