Technology has always been an important part of human development from the start of the human race. How you may ask? If we take a moment to see how the primitive man used the raw tools he had around him, from hammers made of stone, and fire. The primitive man was able to build an empire that evolved into many of the things we see around us today. Lets look at the common wheel, back in the primitive days it was used to help build carts to carry stones from one point to the other. Today that common wheel is now used in almost everything we use today, from the common car, bike, to more intricate things such as the gears in your watch . What started out as a mere necessity has evolved into a world of technology.Over the past decade the human race has made huge advancements in the world of technology. Over the past 10 years technology has become such an important part of human existences, that most of us could not survive with out these advancements, for example,computers, Ipads, cell phones and the internet.
But, is technology always a good thing? over the past year I learned that the answer to that question depends on whom you ask. Because, as in everything, there is a good side and a bad side. And it seems as if the bad side of technology has really shown itself or the past year. Over the past year technology has brought us things like cyber bulling, flash mobs, and even Wiki Leaks. this things have not only brought a lot of phiscal and emotional pain, but as also brought people a lot of jail time. So eventhough technology has bein around since the start of time it is starting to take a turn for the worst. So if i have learned anything about technology in the year 2011 it is to watch the way that i use technology.
