Free Write

Since this Friday we have a chance to do a free write so i've decided to blog about the books that we are assigned to read. I think that if the students are the ones who have to read them, be quizzed on them, and if we are assigned to do any other class assignments or projects on the novel. We " The students" should be the ones who choose what book we read. I know its the teachers job to give the work but its the least they can do. Maybe if we had a book of our own interest to read we will actually take time out of our day to read it. Doing this will make everything so much better and I bet those quiz scores will definitely begin to increase. All the teachers have to do is let each class choose a novel and leave each book out. Then each class could vote on what book the class should read. This is an easy process for not only the students but for the teacher too because there will only be about five books and the class vote will determine which book the class will read. This will decrease all the complaints we have about the novels that the teachers choose for us to read. Sometimes its not that we are refusing to takes quiz or try. Its hard to stay focused on something that doesn't seem interesting to you at all.You will be easily destracted while trying to read the novel.
