The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is a United States bill introduced by U.S. Representative Lamar S. Smith to expand the ability of enforcement to fight online trafficking in coping goods from online.This bill relates to the book because this all power and mind control. This law would expand existing criminal laws to include unauthorized streaming of copyright material.SOPA is an anti-piracy bill working its way through Congress. This bills have a plenty. First, in the book we are reading titled 1984 there is a saying they state rather early in the text. This saying is war is peace; ignorance is strength freedom is slavery. This bill goes along with freedom is slavery.
