Why do people need myths ?

People need myths because we all need something to believe in. For example stories each person is told from thier generation like how things were back than. Than when you have kids and our kids have kids it keeps going. Some myths are told because its simply what people believe so they want to keep it going so that the myth never ends. Myths are where people came from, who they are, and how things were way back than when we werent sround to know what was going on. Everyone believes in some type of myth, because we've all been told some type of story when we were young. Without myths there wouldnt really be any stories to tell. Noone would be shocked and surprised at what people have to say about things that they believe in. Still today there are many stories told about lots of different myths, some people believe and some people dont. You dont have to believe in all the myths that your told. Myths are basically about culture and how they came about, the struggles your ancestors went through and so on and so fourth. Families enjoy telling these stories that way we can see all that they went through and so that the myth can keep being told to families.
