I believe myths should be told for several reasons. People who tell myths; that have carried them for centuries through different generations I believe have improved peoples thinking on different levels. A myth could be a good or bad rumor but can get you to think and see things on a different perspective. Many myths can also explain where the people come from and how they have lived their lives which give people questions to ask and give them a better understanding of what they have heard or learned. Because of myths, people could also live their life according to the myth that they believe in. For example in Greek time people who couldn’t do a certain activity prayed to a God who did that activity for them. This made people feel powerless because they felt as though they didn’t have to do anything and that the Gods would do everything for them as long as they prayed to them. This also gave them a sense of security and myths began to control the world.
