10-14-11 Power

Someone with power around me is my mom. She has power over me, my sister and even her husband in a way; she has power over the household. She got this power because she got pregnant; therefore, she had children. Over the years she has raised us to listen to her , and try to follow her rules. This gave her power. She also has a job that helps support me and my sister, which also gave her power over me and my sister because she is the one who provides our needs. She has power over my stepdad as well because she is his partner; therefore, she influenes what he does. And even thought they are equal as a couple, they still at times have power over each other.
