Jocelynn Black _ Power

A person I know who has came to have power , would have to be my mother. Growing up in the hood kinda gave her a rough edge , so she feels as though she “paid the cost, to be the boss”. Not only does she have power over me , but also her boyfriend and people at her job. My mom is a very strong woman;therefore, she never lets her guard down. She is a very bossy person, but she means well. She owns her own house and pays her own bills by herself, so she feels as though she has authority over everybody that lives under her roof.. which is me. Unfortunately, I don’t like that at all. I don’t like people to boss me around or tell me what to do. However, I cant do anything about that until i move out. All in all , I respect my mother very much because she did a lot to accomplish these goals. She got pregnant at the tender age of 16 and kicked out of her moms house , who also had power too ! She had to do everything she could to make it to where she is now. If I went through what she went through I would want to have power too. When I get older and have my own house, I hope to have power just like her .. possibly more !
