super women(:

The person who had a significant influence on me was my mother. She is super women. Its been just about two years her fighting cancer and still is. May 15 2010, the day my mother told me she had cancer is the day the doctor told her she only had three to six months to live. It was a heart breaker I have learned to deal with this. My mother is a strong single women she raises three kids including me for 19 years. Seeing and knowing that my mother is dealing and fighting cancer lets me know that even tho she is sick she is not giving up and it makes me stronger. Some days i feel like giving up on things but when when I think about my mother, she motivates me to do better and makes me realizes that I can do it and not to give up. One day she came up to me and said “Jenny your a very bight young lady and you can do what ever you want to do if you keep your mind on it don’t ever give up”. After she had told me that i sat down and realized that she was right and i cant give i thought to my self and said I’m not going to give up because she’s not giving up fighting with cancer. I want to find the cure for cancer so nobody has to deal or go though the heartache and pain I have been through.

  1. The way you view your mother is how everyone should view their mothers. It is a testament to how strong she is that she has lasted 2 years instead of the 3 to 6 months that she was told. Your mom is right though, we can all do anything that we put our mind to. Thanks for sharing this heart warming story with us.
