Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.
Remember when you were a junior or senior in high school. The teachers start talking about college. It gets overwhelming: you don’t know what college to pick or what essay to write. When it comes to writing college essays a lot of them like to write about themselves to make them look different. But I want to talk about someone who influence me.Some of the people responses would be a mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, an aunt, an uncle or even a coach. But if someone was to ask me, I would give them a completely different answer. I would have to say Rafael Sanabria.
Rafael Sanabria has been one of my closest friends since I started high school. In my opinion, he is the most open minded and helpful person I know. If you ever had a problem, you could go to him even if you didn’t know him. Rafael gives the good and the bad about any situation. Then, he lets you make an educated choice.
For example, my whole history class took a test and me and two other girls had the same answers and same grade. The teacher thought we cheated off of each other. I talked to Rafael about it. He told me I could say that I cheated even though I didn’t, or I could ask to retake it. So I asked the teacher to retake the test. I got all the same answers and the same grade, so the teacher believed me that I didn’t cheat.
By that happening this will prepare for the future and make me realize how to look at everything from different perspectives. I think if you can see things from perspectives, you learn how to respect everyone else. I that same situation was to ever happen, I would know what to do. Or even if any situation came up I will be able to see the good and the bad in the situation so I can make an educational choice.
