Many people have their own perspective on things in life and not always do people agree or disagree on things the U.S or your county or city does. But here is something that I strongly disagree on and why I feel the way I do.
Imagine sitting in the dark, growing and waiting in the warmth for a chance to enjoy life and suddenly you feel a coldness you can’t control. You’re torn to pieces never being able to enjoy or see the beauty of the outside world. You’re not able to understand why or what’s happening. Across the world, mostly young teens come to a hard decision that may cause them depression or regret. Abortion! Abortion, I believe strongly, should be banned possibly across the U.S because of the following reason: it kills the life of an innocent child, parents needing to own up to bigger responsibilities, and some people may have their own personal beliefs or religious.
How would you feel if someone took away your life because of their mistakes in life? Abortion kills the life of an innocent child. Just like the parents were and able to enjoy life, why shouldn’t their child? Therefore, the baby should have a chance to enjoy, learn, and explore his or her life. So parents and young teens made a mistake, yes, but so does everyone in the world, but it shouldn’t be taken out on a defenseless child.
If you can’t reverse what you did wrong in the past, why should you do it now? Teen parents should own up to their responsibilities and fix their mistakes but not by killing. A way to fix their problem could be an open/closed adoption or to care for the baby as best as you can. These would be the best options to fix the problem or mistake. If not any sort of adoption, abortion could lead someone to depression and stress. The teens develop those feelings and show signs like apathy, or don’t care about anything afterwards. So teens feel that abortion is the only way to get rid of the situation there in and feel as though they won’t have to take up their responsibility. But there are many other solutions and all should be considered.
Many people have different views or religious beliefs about abortion. To some people, having an abortion is a sin. It may be considered his way because its similar to murder. Although I feel as though everything everyone does in life is considered a type of sin I do understand where others views come in. Another belief is that abortion should not be an option because god created you and this world and if he intended you to have a child on accident or purpose then your child is a gift and because of that you should keep him or her. As said before, if you didn’t want to keep the baby for whatever reason it may be, then there are other options and although abortion is one I believe it should not be unless seriously called for.
Therefore, abortion should be reconsidered across the world or specifically in the U.S for the exception of serious issues such as rape. It’s considered taking the life of an innocent child, teens or adults should own up to their own responsibilities and some people go with their religion or a strong belief. Would you want teens or adults being more sad and depressed or possibly doing harmful things to one another? If not, reconsider how abortion is used to teach that there is other options.
