College Eassay

One main topic that colleges take interest in is why or what happened in your life that made you want to go to college. From what I know most people just talk about what happened to them when they were younger up until now that made them want to go to college. In my opinion, I thinks it’s important to ask, what did you experience, see, even hear in life that made you want to go.
Honestly, going to college is something that I really would like to do. I feel college is right for me because I believe that I would be very beneficial to whatever college I go to.I would be a benefit by showing people from all over the world that they can go to college and be successful no matter where they’re from. Whatever college I go to I would give them recognition for helping me become successful and complete my dreams. College would be very beneficial to me because I would be able to learn different languages so I can communicate with people who speak those languages. By continuing to learn academics on a college level I would be more advanced in my education. On a personal level, I take my education very serous because that’s the way I was raised, so going to college for academics and Beauty Salon Management getting nothing but good grades is something that’s very important to me.

Beauty Salon Management, is a course I really am interested in taking because I would like to have my own salon one day. Taking this course would give me knowledge on how to run a successful business.Taking a Beauty Salon Management course in college would help me make a change. Not only will it help me develop a successful salon but it will also help me become independent because I will already know what is needed to run my salon and become professional.

When I was six years old, I braided my first Barbie doll head. At first it was pretty difficult, but with lots of practice braiding became easy. Pretty soon, I started learning new things like sew- ins, polishing nails, tweezing eyebrows, and even learning how to curl hair with curling irons. The older I got the more I learned lots of things pertaining to cosmetology. It never occurred to me how difficult girls felt it was to maintain their appearance until I was in middle school, whether it be their hair, nails, make up, etc. After graduating from middle school I got accepted to Camden County Technical School my sophomore year of high school to get my license in Cosmetology. Going to Camden County Technical I was and still is getting straight A’s. In high school I realized again that there was so many teenage girls unhappy, self conscience, even have no confidence in how they look because they always felt their look wasn’t good enough. Knowing that girls felt this way motivated me even more to get my cosmetology license, go to college, and get my own salon so I can make a change.

While in high school I started being even more creative with my hair styles to give females in school different ideas they can do to their hair. I would twist my hair, curl it, flip it, straighten it a certain way, etc. This idea worked because I had girls coming up to me asking me what I did to make my look that way. I even started being creative with my nails letting females know they don’t have to go to nail salons and get acrylics just to feel comfortable with their nails when all they have to do is take better care of them and they’ll love the results of their natural, healthy nails.

As you can see, I am a well rounded person with a good head on my shoulders. I honestly, spend my time studying or getting more information about something pertaining to my academics. If not that then I’m studying, practicing, and even testing myself on things that deal with cosmetology. Most importantly, I’m always making sure that I have time to spend with my family. I take my education very serious, I’m focused on what I want out of life and what I need to do to accomplish my goals, both short and long term. Last but not least, I am truly determined to be successful``` because I know fifty years from now I want to look back on my life and say that I am proud of what I did with my life and who I have become.
