Do You Like Macbeth Or Not?

I do but then again I don’t like Macbeth. I do like him because at first he did not seem bad at all. But then again I don’t like him because of his wife lady Macbeth. She makes Macbeth do stuff that he does not want to do. Like she had made Macbeth kill the king. Lady Macbeth is not a good person because in the story she said make my blood thick and make my milk sour and if she had kids her kids would died because of the sour milk. I think if it was not for lady Macbeth, Macbeth would have never killed the king. And by Macbeth being marry to her the way she is rubbing off on Macbeth and making him do things that he really do not want to do but he does to please his wife. At the beginning of the story Macbeth had seemed like a leader, a person people would look up to. By Lady Macbeth being jealous, and wanting power she turns to the one person she knows that can not say no to her wishes which is her husband Macbeth. I think that Macbeth is very confused about who he is and what he is and that he can not even think straight for his self. To know who you are you need to think for yourself and do not let anyone think for you. But that is not what Macbeth does he lets his wife lady Macbeth think for him that is why he killed the king.

Things that make you who you are today ????

The thing that make you do or the things you are? My opinion that i take is the things make you who you are. The way it works is that you gotta be yourself and the way you take action from beginning. I can be me but the things i do make me who I'm am in this world. The way i take action is by showing people who I'm am and the real me from the beginning . Don’t change who you are because others what too. Just keep doing what you was doing from the beginning and just live life how you want it. Just show respect and kindness etc.....The way i can say it is that I'm am me because the things i do i life .The other way is how you got raised when you was baby and if you got raised with the right family. It really show a lot , but at the same times that can change and you can be a whole different person . Just know always show respect and if they don’t show respect , just still give it still. When you give a person kindness and they don’t like it still give them kindness because it kills them when you show them who you are .

       I admit that in my last few entries, I have stated that the persuit of power is withen the human nature and that it could cause us to do terrible things such as murder to obtain it. However, I do believe that while it is impossible for us to abandon our nature entirly, we do still posess the ability to choose weather we listen to it or not. Some people actually would rather not have power over others, despite our nature. Many people in history have tried and succeded in being different than what human nature dictates, and for some it has worked out for the better. As far as Macbeth goes, while he does want to become King, he does consider both the conciquences for his actions, and how great of a King Duncan has been. Despite the promise of power (however breif it was) he does, at one point want to back out, and he would have if not for his wife. In short, while nature does not control us completely, we can never completely rid ourselfs of it.

what you do as a person deffines who you are just beacause somebody says you do one particular thing doesnt deffine u unless u realy do that one particular thing. for instance new yourk tymes or cnnn say that a particular artist such as usher had sexual realations with a teenage girl we the people of the world would bieleve it the news and the press make u bieleve what they want you to bieleve. another example of this would be the book shakes spear in the book shake spears a book about mcbeth who wants to be king mcbeth kills the king but cannot bear the pain of thinking about what he had done. In this story mcbeth takes two daggers from the guards who were killed by his wife with posion mcbeth goes into the kings room while he is sleep but hesistates to kill him but as the king beacame shock and tryedto fight back mcbeth killed him vagerly and then he left the room with his daggers what mcvbeth did makess him a killer in the eyes of other people but deep down inside he knows what he did was wrong and feels remorse so what u do deffines u as a person and how people judge you.

Yourself

The things that we do makes us who we are today. I say this because there are so many people out in the world that not only do things that make them but also use material things to make them who they are. Its kind of hard to explain so i'll just give some examples. One example of the material things making you who you are is because its like a trend if you wear the latest brands you are considered a different person you get more attention from the things you do and the people around you. Other examples of what we do making us who we are is if you are always in drama constenly arguing and fighting you are considered a trouble maker. People who stay out of trouble, do their work, and would rather go to a library than to go shopping with their friends would be considered a geek, corny, or a lame they are all the ways people would describe you. I really agree that the things we do make us who we are and there are examples that prove that this is true. Some one who is constantly working all the time without a break to get money they need are considered hard workers, focus, or independent people because thats what they decide to do with there life. Everything you do and every decision you make someone out there will be waiting to give you a lable whether its good or bad. Sometimes people judge you from what they see such as the material and physical things rather than what they know like the way you really are mentally and personality wise.

Who you are!

I'm pretty sure that everything you do as a person is reflected by the person you are already. Sometimes the things we do can be influenced by others which is just repeating something so i do not feel that this is a representation of yourself but more of the people you surround yourself with. And that even goes for when you were younger, everything you did was just a simple refelction of your parents or the people who raised you, and if you were raised by wolves then youd be on all fours catching your meal with your mouth everyday, because thats what you see. We definatley have a side that controls our decision making but if your already in the position to make that decision then your basically already part of that being. If you sit and watch spongebob all day, expect to find yourself acting a little strange and goofy, if your listening to rock music all day , expect to find yourself in a more hyper jumpy mood. Is there really any question in how media controls us? Yeah well i cou.ld give examples all day but i am very well more then sure that the things you do are reflected by the way you feel and the way you feel is originally yourself so there is no telling for sure whether the things you do make you a person or if you are the person who does the things you do.

I believe that what you do makes you who you are. Your actions determine who you are. For example if you are a bully you choose to become one. Bullying someone is not something somebody should be proud about. Your action of bullying someone can cause consequences. Another example is the type of clothes you wear. If you wear the most updated clothes then people look at you as if you are cool. Me personally don't look at someone like that. I think it's dumb to think of someone as cool just because they have the most updated items. I also think that some not all people act the way they act because of their mother or father. For example if your father is an abuser, most likely the son will grow up to becoming an abuser also. So this is why I believe that what you do makes you who you are.

Who we are? To me human nature is like a ball of clay, something that can be shaped and molded. But unlike a ball of clay human nature can not be molded by any old thing. Instead it is shaped by several things such as how we are raised, what we are taught, the things we live through, the way we think, and the things we do. But human nature is a very spacial thing because after we are shaped and molded by these things we turn around and shape or change the very things that made us who we are. Sort of like a river which at first is guided by the shape of the land, but later with time is molded by the rushing waters. At some point the person we are detrmines the way we are raised, the things that we learn, the things we live throw , the way we think, and even the things we do or don't. I myself has even gone though this change several time.

Human Nature

The things you do are what make you who you are. For example I like to go wheeling in my truck so if I didn’t do the things that I like to do then it would be boring and that would basically make someone really depressed. The things that you do are exciting for you and also make you entertained. An also good example is that I would eat corn but I won’t eat peas because I eat what I do like not what I don’t like. So basically what I am trying to say is that you should always do what you WANT to do and just keep doing. Like a lot of people say "I rather be fat and happy, then skinny and depressed." That’s why everyone is different yes you might have a couple things that are similar but, you will ALWAYS have something different to do with someone. This is why a lot of people would bully other people because they are different but if they look into the real world everybody is different they can’t just pick on people all the time to get a thrill out of it. So this is the point that I am trying to make so that everyone would stop being so concerned on people being different. When I think of human nature, I think of the things that humans do naturally. I feel as though the things we do determine who we are. If you murder people, you’re a murderer that’s who you are. Human nature is something that can not be changed. It’s just the way things are, and a way of life. However, Macbeth wouldn’t be considered a murderer per say because he feels guilty, and he wasn’t initially going to kill the poor guy until he woke up. Sometime, as humans we react to things and feel bad for them later. I’m pretty sure half the people in jail didn’t intentionally mean to do what they did, but human nature is something we can’t help. So it can be both, it can be the way we act, or the things we do. Matter of fact, it’s actually both combined into one that makes up our human nature. People have choices. You can choose to do the wrong thing, or you can choose to do the right thing, and I feel as though that makes up who you are. It makes people look at you with a label, but you do the things to get you that title. So, in other words human nature can be a mixture of both, its not just one thing that make up human nature. Just like if you do one thing that doesn’t make up who you are, but if you continue you to do it, like murder people. You become title as a murderer.

The book Macbeth has to be the worst book I have ever read in my life, seriously. It’s worse than the book 1984. I’m a very religious person, so I don’t believe in all that witch type stuff. I don’t like all the murder and the weird talking, and how the witches are telling him to do things and all that. On top of all things that I don’t like, the book is very boring. Reading it is like watching paint dry, and the characters go on and on and on about absolutely nothing. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are so corny! I can not express how much I hate this book, and I’m upset you have us reading it. However, I can tolerate the movie a tad bit more than the book. The only good thing I like about the book is when it is done and we put it away. Julius Caesar is not an author I would recommend. I don’t like romeo and Juliet, this, or anything else he has written. I wish I did so I could be so involved in the book as everybody else.

in the story i think that macbeth was nothing to start out with. so that did determine on who he was in life. when he found out who he was gonna end out to be when the witches said what they said he changed when things started to come out true. so i think it could actually be both ways in life because some people actually act the way they do because thats who they really are and some people just pretend to be somebody they are not tobecause of something they think they may become in life. I think in life I act the way I do because that’s who I really am. I just keep it real. I see people in life that hang with people and become part of something and change the whole personality just to be down. I see people become popular and think they can rule everybody. There are people here in this world where they are just smart and people think they are geeks but they don’t change for nobody because they are who they are. Another example is teachers students may not like them because the way they teach but they don’t change because it’s the way they learned it to teach their class. Some people beat up others for no reasons but it’s not for who they are it’s to try and be somebody they are not to get some attention. So I think it could be both ways around.

In the story Macbeth seemed like a genuine nice man and conciderate of others. But, he did seem to have a problem with Malcolm becoming prince and next in line for becoming king. When Macbeth went home his wife tried to convince him that he had to kill Duncan so that he could have a better chance at becoming king and then Malcolm had fled. Lady Macbeth came up with this plan and at first Macbeth was uncertain and didnt want to do it but Lady macbeth said he wasnt a man and that if she was she would kill him. So then he turned around and went along with his wifes plan and his attitude and personality began to change. Lady Macbeth was able to talk her husband into committing murder by basically calling him a punk. So i belive that human nature is determined by what you do and makes who you are. People can pressure you into doing things but it is your decision on wether you go through with it or not. Humans do know wrong from right and there shouldnt be an excuse on why the wrong was done. Alot of what humans do reflects on other individuals and then makes them feel like they need to follow what they do to fit in. It then changes these individuals to act out making a reputation wether its good or bad upon themselves. So therefore their human nature instincts make you who you are.

This Computer Sucks!

OK let me try this again because this computer sucks and keeps deleting all of my stuff. I feel that human nature is determined by both what you do and what you are because there are certain spur of the moment things people do, like in Macbeth's case kill Duncan. And there are certain things that are just natural reactions to people, for example Duncan pulling out his sward to defend himself. I am ninety-nine percent sure Duncan had every intent to kill Macbeth to defend himself, does that make him a bad person or a killer. No. Is he gonna go on a killing spree like Macbeth? If he lived he might have but I doubt it. But anyways, you can't define someone by what they do in the spur of the momeent. You could be the smartest and nicest person in you school and one day someone hits you and you hit them back. That doesn't mean he is going to walk down the hallways punching everybody in the face. But on the other hand just because somebody is always nice doesn't mean if you hit them they are just gonna stand there.

In the thought of human nature I believe that it certainly determines what you are….. Because it is a mans instinct to grow up and kind of show his authority and toughness, just as well as women are to show their motherly love or strictness in rules.
Things (buildings,stores,and etch) around us in the outside world are most likely things that we can adapt to; unlike animals; who cant shop at clothing stores and things of that sort. That is a prime example of things being apart of nature. And we as humans are basically leading nature, because we are lot smarter then other creations made. It is a very gifted world and humans by far run it so for us to have stores and malls and gyms that are our adapted community that we are use to and adapted to. We react off what we know we can use around us that is nature of humans.
Example of it is a man wanting to play football and favoring it because he is very good at it so he makes it a career now this man is follow his instinct because that’s what he wanted to do. And that’s how a nature of human’s eyes is seen through. a second example is a women doing the household things (things around the house) like shopping, feeding everyone, doing laundry, and cleaning that is a commend instinct to a human female. Or another for instinct for nature its self is to survive.

In my own perspective I think that, human nature is both determined by what you do and what you are. Like the old saying goes what you do makes who you are. Human nature refers to the distinguishing characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that humans tend to have naturally. Human nature is a term or phrase that we use to describe and explain the typical things we all do as humans.
For example; in the novel "Macbeth", Macbeth himself changes into something that he is not. Before he had to kill King Duncan he was a very humble and loyal guy. Everyone had their trust in him, he liked who he was. I don't actually think that he wanted to change who he was, but he he accepted who he was and what he did. After he killed King Duncan he changed all together. his personality changed from loyal to betrayal. Also, humble to paranoid.

the reason i act like i do is because of me and my personality. I do the things i do because thats just me being me. I am the fun one out of all my friends im always haveing fun and doing stupid things and acting all crazy. I get reckless at time and break stuff or fight people over stupid things. But thats why all my friends love me because no matter what happenes i am the same peason all the time i never change when im around new people. I dont care what people think of me at all i just be me and my personality makes me who i am. Im positive , if you aked all of my friends if they would change my personality, they would all say no. Human Nature TALASIA

I believe that human nature is both what you do, and the thing deep down that causes these action. Every human has a brain that allows them to think, and to carry out actions. Scientist actually study the similarities and differences between the choices that people make. Even the reactions to things can be said to be similar. In my opinion whatever it is that give people these emotions to act off of is what determines the actions they make. The similarities of the two are that who the person is inside does determines the actions they make , but human nature itself involves being able to make decisions and have emotions and to think and to know the morality of the actions that they decide to make. For example if you have to people and put them in the same situation they both might feel the same inside and want to carry out the same action, but it all remains to how they think and what decision they decide to make for them selves. That one decision could either make or break them. That’s why I believe that human nature is both what you do and who you are and whatever it is that causes you to do the actions. Human nature can be explained and argued about and I believe that depending on your opinion it could change the out look on what exactly human nature is. this is my perspective and my opinion on what human nature is.

A Human Nature is determine from who you become as a human being and how your house structure was brought up to be cause bitter kids have a nasty attitude about things and control their outer behavier.Although people can turn out how they turn out because of their friends cause if they don’t do it there friends will kill them. So with that being said it sort of kind of both because excuse a person can be a quiet person that doesn’t talk stay to myself and people would bother her and she can get tired of people picking on her and kill them or kill herself its within yourself to be who you are not what people want you to be. Now and days people do it just to look cool or just to take a life away and its not cool but your actions determine how people may judge you from your past.ex;people that i grow up with they changed over the years with killing their fellow classmates,bestfriend,homies and like now and day its not safe in the hood cause everyone wants to be better then the next person or want to take there shine so they take them out just to be the head drug dealer or just to be on top. but your attitudes and openness will determine the way others respond to you. Although You might say that humans are that part of nature which is self-creating, society, and their individual relations with nature are determined by this joint activity. Human nature is whatever works out best for you.

MacBeth- actions

Is human nature determined by “what you do” or what you are”? I think human nature is determined by what you do. I think this because your actions say a lot about who you are. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like something you did or wish you hadn’t done it, it is still done and you can’t go back. Due to this I think your actions determine who you are as a person. Like in Macbeth, Macbeth didn’t think of killing the king before, but due to how the story came about, he was put in a position to kill the king. And even though this was not like him before, it is part of this now and it is determining future actions of his. This is because due to him killing the king, he had to change his ways, he had to become a killer. He had to kept killing and lying to hide what he had done. So even though killing was not who he was, it had become who he now was. So I think that what you do determines who you are at the moment, the things you do can always change who you are. That is like with friends, sometimes they do things that change who they are. They do things that make you and others see the new them or who they have become. Actions change people and they also define people, it makes you and them notice who they really are because actions lead to other actions and to changing others.

Human Nature

The things that make you who you are today are the things you go through in your life. For example, if someone hurts you really bad you learn not to trust anyone because, you are scared that you will get hurt again. Like in the book “Macbeth” Macbeth kills the King because of his wife. If it was not for his wife he would have never killed the King. Sometimes we go through so much in life we do not care and we just say f**k it oh well. Like we as teenagers or young adults we can not tell our parents to kick us out the house. They do it because they fed up with us, or the people they are around that is making them like that. We as teenagers or young adults or at any age we can not change who someone is that is just how they are. Macbeth wife is cruel and mean that is why she do not have a heart in killing someone but Macbeth does have a heart. By his wife not having a heart it is rubbing off on Macbeth and he is only doing it to please his wife. Lady Macbeth said to make her blood thick and her milk sour why you would do that if you have kids and you know that would kill them. Sometimes when someone that dies and you are really close to them you break down. But there are two different ways you could go. One way people go are breaking down crying and keep moving forward trying to better them and take everything they taught them and use it. The other way people go are not in a good way they go down hill they don’t go to school, drop everything. Sometimes kill them because they really want to be with that person.

Based, on what I read in the play Macbeth I believe that who you are does not make you do what you do. I say this because in the play Macbeth, in which Macbeth is the person that the story is about he has a lot of different characteristics. In the play Macbeth Macbeth's characteristics is some one who is loyal to the king and his country. Macbeth is cold hearted to his enemies, killing any one that comes in the way of the king and those who go aginst all that the country, the counsel, and the country stands for. Once, the three witches aho are sisters talk to Macbeth telling him that eventually, he will end up becoming King it gets to him. When he was told that by the witches Macbeth was in denile at first until he realized certain things that the withces were presdicting would happen happened. When Macbeth told his wife, Lady Macbeth about what the witches she began to talk to him about. She was telling Macbeth about how he was not a man and how he was coward for not wanting to kill King Duncan so that he could become King. Lady Macbeth was a very horrible, unloyal person who only cared for himself, she was also conaiving. Soon, as Lady Macbeth was done talking to Macbeth he changed his mind and he decided to go along with the kiling of King Duncan. When King Duncan satys iover at Macbeth and Lady Macbeth house they know what they must do. Lady Macbeth gets the guards drunk so they can be blaimed for the death of King Duncan. Macbeth goes into King Dunacn's room while he is sleeping and at first hesitate until King Duncan awakes and then Macbeth kills Duncan out of neverousness and surprise. After killing King Duncan Macbeth was in shock, he could not believe what he just did. Then after killing him Macbeth was unhappy and was in regret that he did it. Based, on the events that took place that why I believe what you do does not make you who you are because if he was cold- blooded it would not have bothered him that he killed King Dunacn.

Human Nature Determined By What You Do Or Are

In human nature you are defined of who you are by what you do. Like Macbeth for example he wasnt an evil person he just began thinking of how it would if he was to be king because of what the withces told him. Than with his wife pushing him made him do it. Now again he wasnt an evil person but what he did made him evil. He murdered Duncan the king because of what he believed would be and feel right. Sometimes people do things without thinking about the consequences and the price they would have to pay. In my opinion if I was to kill someone and get away with it, no matter what that consience of mine will always be there reminding me of what I did. Thats what happended to Macbeth and his wife, they both thought that killing someone and getting away with it would be easy what they didnt think about was how it was going to effect them. When that happens you either kill yourself like Lady Macbeth did or just live with that conscience forever. So basically Macbeth went out of his character which now defines the type of person he also is. They say you dont know what your capable of until your in a situtation that makes you change the way you are and the things you do. In this case Macbeth did that and murdered Ducan because of what he thought would change his life as the witches told him.

The Scottish Play

I don't really care that much for reading The Scottish Play because I'm actually very superstitious about saying the name of The Scottish Play. Also I really dislike the fact that we aren't reading the old English text, but instead are forced to read the modern English. I do; however, like the idea of Reader's Theatre. Unfortunately not everybody in the class likes participating in the vocal acting required, or even reading out loud.

This is a very good play that I feel we should learn about, but it doesn't make me excited to read it because I have had to read so many Shakespearean plays in the past four years that it makes me groan to think about it. The only thing that I was excited for when you said that we would be reading The Scottish Play was that we would be reading it in Shakespearean text. Honestly now that we aren't I could care less about reading it.

I can't really think of anything else that bothers me about The Scottish Play. Therefore, I'll just talk a little about the myths and tradgedies enveloping The Scottish Play. There are multiple theories as to why there is a curse on the show. One of them says that Shakespeare was given a few lines from an actual coven of witches who, after seeing the show, were angry at Shakespeare, and cursed the play. Another theory is that the propmaster for the original show couldn't find a suitable pot for the cauldron so he stole one from a coven of wtiches who cursed the show for the theft. It is said that if you break the taboo of The Scottish Play that the ghosts of the witches will come back, and cause mishaps. The most spectacular of the theories is that Shakespeare himself put the curse on the play as a fail safe that only he would be able to direct it.

Most people know that it's bad luck to say the name of The Scottish Play while in the theater. It is actually such bad luck that people have died due to freak accidents because they didn't follow the "countercurse" rehearsal process. A while back a kid I knew had said the name of The Scottish Play while doing technical work for a show, and a set piece that hadn't been properly weighted fell and nearly killed him.

My friend's mom works in different areas of the theatre. While she was working on a show a new kid said the name of The Scottish Play while on stage. Not five minutes later an electrical bar in the fly system fell to the ground and almost hit some of the other kids. The only way to counter-act the curse of saying the name of The Scottish Play in a theatre is to go out of the building, spin around three times, spit, curse/say a line from another Shakespeare play, then knock and wait to be allowed back in.

If you are putting on The Scottish Play there are certain things you do in rehearsals to avoid activating the "curse." A major thing is calling the lead male "The Lord/Kind of The Scottish Play" until you put it up for an audience to see. You call his wife "The Lady of The Scottish Play." The most important part of this rehearsal process is that you don't say the last line of the play until opening night.

All in all, my favorite part of reading The Scottish Play is thinking about the all the different superstitions surrounding the portrayal of the show. There's something oddly fascinating about the "curse" that was put on this play.

The "Witches" of Macbeth

      In the audio review of William Shackspear's play "Macbeth" we heard that the 3 witches of the play fortold that Macbeth would become king of Scottland. We heard that this is a paradox because up untill this point Macbeth had not considered becoming king until those three brought it up. I personally don't believe this to be the case. I think that those three are just the type of people who like to see everyone else in the world fight to the death. And telling someone that for a shot at being royality, all they had to do is kill one person, well the people of that age, and even today would do anything for power. It is one flaw about being human, we all have a hole in our hearts that can't ever be filled, no matter how much we gain. Knowing that fact about humans is one way to control what a person does. Those three knew that Macbeth had a taste for power and that he would listen to them.

what i like about Mcbeth is how the characters interact with each other and how the cast play out there parts and how shakes spear wrote out his plays and had each characters reherse them and how it tells a story
What i dont like about mcbeth is how all of shakes spears plays have the same emotion and feeling in his plays for example a song a musical artist such as the dream all of his songs sound the same but if he changed the way he performs his songs by including different pepole it will make it better to the ear and eyes such as videos and how it is displayed to the public

LIKE AND DIS

To be or not to be..? That is the question. With that being said, Macbeth strikes me as the type of book that W.S. wrote in hopes to show the public just exactly how easy someone can be manipulated by feelings and even words. He has a very valid and detailed way of putting his theme or idea into the book which is basically telling everyone that when you get a bit of something like power you have to be responsible enough to handle it or it will completely take you over and eventually destroy you!
Never the less this book seems very interesting for the time being so the answer to this blog is yes i like it, why? I don't really know exactly but i definitely like the story line behind it and how it has to do with greed and raging power because that is certainly a very realistic topic of discussion when it comes to anything from being a super hero to even politics. Foir now i feel like this is going to be a very good book and im almost excited to start reading it forreal !

Macbeth

Macbeth the book is very interesting. It is a little hard to read but overall i can understand whats going on. The movie is a lot more easier to understand. That is probably cause visual things are always easier for me. The actors in the movie weren't exactly as i pictured. When i read the book i did not think the witches would be so ugly looking. They talked exactly how i thought they would. The movie really follows the story of the book. Even though i already know whats going to happen i still find the movie interesting cause it gives me a better feel for the story. The movie shows a lot of things i wasn't prepared to see. I did not think the war scene would be so bloody. I hope the the rest of the movie is entertaing because their were alot of dry parts already.

Macbeth

I don't like nothing about Macbeth. It's not my type of book. I am not interested in anything the book says. My type of book is drama, mystery, and murder. I know that you're probably thinking thats what Macbeth is about, but it's a different type of it. I don't like the whole different type of language. I really can't understand half the stuff they be saying in the movie. If I could understand whats going on then maybe I would be a little more interesting in Macbeth. Then the book doesn't really help me to undestand the story. The movie kind of helps me understand the story a little better. It gives me a better picture since I can see what is going on. I think that we should watch the whole movie first to get a better idea of whats going on, rather then read the book, then watch clips of the movie. I like reading, but this is not something that i would choose to read. I think if teacher's were to have us read a book the whole class is excited about then we wouldn't mind doing work on it. So I think that we should get a new book to read.

Thoughts Of Macbeth

What I like about Mac Beth is that its actually kind of interesting just a little tiny bit but what I dont like about it is that its kind of hard to understand whats really going on because the story takes place long ago so the words they use are kind of different. If I could fully understand what was going on then maybe I would find that the book actually could be interesting for me. When we watched the movie on Mac Beth it gives me a better understandment of what is going on. Mac Beth isn't a book that I would read on my spare time but as a class novel I think its okay. Maybe it gets my attention because it has some action and violence in it sort of like the stories and the movies that we watch now days. I would still perfer that we watch the movie more and read as a class because thats the only way I will stay focus and know what is goind on. I think we should finish watching the movie because not only does it give you a more visual image there are also more details. While reading Mac Beth you kind of already paint a picture in your mind of whats going on but with the movie you see exactly what they want you to see and in the same order as the story. You can just read along with your book and the movie that will make this book better and also that is what will give us a better understanding.

Macbeth Overall

What I would say that I like about Macbeth is that this guy is so brave that he does not have no fear at all. I think it is cool to have someone like Macbeth on your side because he would basically go after a dragon if he had to or wanted to and probably beat it. So if Macbeth was on your side you would win wars that you were in and also he would deff. get the job done. What would excite me about this whole book is the action like the murders because i like action stuff that happens sometimes. Also I would like to see the whole movie because you get the whole image of it but some of the stuff that would happen in the book isnt the same in the movie. And last but not least i would like to see how they kill Duncan in the movie and how Macbeths wife sets it up. This is all i can think of and thank you for listening to what i have to say.

what i liked about the movie was that i didnt have to read and i can get a differnt perpective on the book when i read it i get my own imagenshon in the book and read it like if i see a movie and when i see the movie it kind of puts the stuff i missed witch helps on both ways.what i dislike is the way it ends and also the way it starts and ends and how the movie is put the movie together and how raw and also shows how the director really just his family tratite i think i cant wait to reas the reast of the movies and read the reast of the book.

What I like about the book Macbeth is that we get to act the parts out the way we think it goes. What I dislike about the book is that it probably will take long and that the parts are really weird. In the movie the parts that excite me is when the fighting starts and people are being really sneaky starting drama like the (WITCHES). What bores me is that the story is black and white. What other things that I like that it might be a twist in the story when everything might start coming together. I like that the book is better than our last one but I don’t like the fact that it’s so many characters in the story. The best part I like in the story is that people are starting to get worried because of what they are hearing and what they think it means. I don’t like that the witches appear in the story and then suddenly just disappear and leave everyone clueless. I also don’t like the fact that Macbeth will start thinking he better then everyone when he finds out the news. I don’t like that Macbeth name don’t fit his body at all. I like that it’s something different about the witches in the story. What bores me in the story it don’t really catch my eye until something important starts to happen. What’s going to excite me when Macbeth goes to kill King Duncan to get a spot at being the king

the novel macbeth was not a bad novel,the things I like about it is that is a great play,it haves good actions in the book.It was a funny play. The things I dislike was that the movie was boring and old. . It can be hard to understand at times though. 1984 Free Write

I am glad we got to read 1984. Even though I thought the book was very boring at first I liked the message. This book got me thinking about a lot and questioning a lot. It made me look at things differently and wonder more. I have also been able to relate what happened in the book to things happening today. For example, when I am in history class, a lot of things my teacher talks about that are happening make me think of events in the book. These are current events and pass events. This book opens your mind to the things happening around you and shows you what we could end up living in. I think even though it is boring high school students will learn a lot from it. It would be nice if all students got the chance to read it.
One of the parts I liked the best was in the end, how the party changed his whole mind set. How he went from being a rebel to believing and following the party. He gave up his love for Julia and everything he believed in. I think that this part really shows how scary the government can get, when it gets the power to change how you think, what you believe in and how you act. This part should alert people into not letting the government get this powerful and keeping a balance. Overall I learned a lot and I hope something like this never happens.

I Love the novel Macbeth

What I like about the novel macbeth by shakespehere is that it have a great concept for the world connection to today like becareful who you have around your surroundings. In from the first scene that we read in class in my opinion just get my the thought that this play is one of the greatest and should always be pass on to generation to generation. The events that happen by far are exetrmely interesting and the book is very hard to understand but thank god they have a today modern america reading. I also like how the story open up with the three witches making the story alittle scary so you can have some type of emotional inside of you while reading the book. For some reason I stay interested in books like this with deep meaning for example you will not understand this book if you don’t pay attention you have to think far out the box to see what their doing and to understand what they saying. But there are several things that I don’t like about the book and that is that it seems like every person in the story don’t see what goes on in the surrounded like the witches are telling macbeth that he will be king so that should open people mind up to look more in to their story about macbeth. What excites me when I read this book is the fighting that goes on and the deaths event that happened but the person part for is listening to the last word they have to say before they die.

i really cant say i like or dislike anything about the book yet. we havent read enough to really get to know Macbeth to get and opinion. i fell asleep during the movie yesterday so i dont really know whats going on in the book all i no is that their are 3 witches in it and the opening scean is a battle. i think the book is pretty interesting by what i have seen soo far between the book and the movie. Honestly, the story of macbeth is somewhat interesting. Ive never really liked any of shakespears stories/ poems, but this one caught my attention. The things about the story that catches my intrest is the action in it . I find it intresting how basciaclly everybody is sabbing eachother in the back for the sake of power. Its obvious that having power was the main idea in those times. Having a “royal name” was beneficial to your reputation. I likewhen macbeth gets fooled by the witches because they do it in such a clever way. They kind of manipulated him in to thinking that he was unbeatable, untouchable, that he would always remain king. The funny part is when you realize how they said it they had exceptions to every predictions that they told him. They parts that I don’t like about the story is ,in the book the regular version isnt clear to understand. The language is weird that they use. It takes to long to get to the point of what they are trying to say in the story. I think macbeth is possibly the best stories that shakepears wrote in my opinion.

This is exactly how i feel about macbeth.... :p. I don't really like the novel or the movie that much. What i do like is when we are supposed act out the scenes. Such as, SCENE I. A desert place.

When we acted the scene out, it was a very different experience and very comical. Also lots of fun. At first i was shy and a little nervous. I don't really like doing voice overs, but wants i get comfortable i enjoy everymoment of it.

something stupid

What I don't like about this book is the fact that we have to act out all of the scenes. I really don't like anything about this book mainly because I don't like to read books. I think that "1984" is probably a better book because Macbeth is written using older English and is about a time period a lot later than 1984. The only exciting thing about this book is all of the fighting and how Macbeth tries to kill everyone. The boring part of this book is the dialog but the exciting part is watching people try to pronounce and act out the dialogue. The best part was watching Mr. Smith act out the dialogue in act one. Well i have run out of things to say about this book so I took a look at the posts by other people. I am fairly certain that when compared to someone Else's post mine sucks, mainly Jimmy's his is very good.I have not skimmed through the book and I hope this book is very good like he says it gets. But, Mr. Smith remember Barry's post when you grade mine; at least I didn't write like that. Back on topic, this book does seem interesting from the movie we watched yesterday but I just don't like to read books; especially books written in old English. I do like the fact that It has the modern day translation, but they could have done better on that.

MacBeth

MacBeth is a pretty cool book, once you get into it. It can be hard to understand at times though. The first time I read MacBeth I thought it was boring, until I got to the ending and I started to understand it more. The movie also helped get more into it. What I liked the most was the different characters the book had, they each had their own personality that I wanted to know more about. The three weird witches also made the book kind of fun to read because they were different then witches from other stories I had heard before. I didn’t like the way the talk because I am not used to the way they talk and write. I also liked how they have ghost, well MacBeth sees ghost, which I think is pretty cool. And even though it is just in his head, I like it. The parts that excite me the most were when MacBeth and Lady MacBeth were plotting against the king and how they killed him. I also liked when the guy, MacDuff I think is his name, kills MacBeth. I liked how MacBeth thought he could be killed be him because he was born of woman, but MacDuff tells him he was not born of woman, that his mother had a C- Section. I think that was the best part because I was wondering who would defeat MacBeth since all men were born from a woman, I was not counting on that twist to the story.

Macbeth Pro's and Con's

There is this new book we have been skimming through the last few days, and I would like to explain all the things I like and dislike about it.
Starting with the likes I have for the book, I would like to say this book has kept me interested. The constant love, hate, betrayal, and killing are the main parts that keep me interested. Most books anymore do not continue to have these action parts throughout the book as Macbeth does. This is a very good characteristic in a book and I feel all books should try to follow them. Not only does all the excitement keep me interested but also the side by side text of the modern language and the past language. Doing this helps me understand the novel a little better, and makes me want to know more about their language and why they spoke the way they had.
Although I do like the book as a whole, there are a few things I dislike about it. One thing I dislike about the book is the text can be confusing, even the modern version because the way the spoke is so much different than how we do today that even when translated it stumps me. I also do not like how you miss things that are3 in the movie because there not in the book. Normally in books they go into much more detail within the words of the writing , but in one little piece of the film I spotted more than one different thing that happen not to be mentioned in the novel.
Throughout life you will find things you do not like and have to do them. In these cases you should really sit down and think about your likes for that specific topic because you just may be able to find something you really like about it. And who knows you may find you have more likes than dislikes for it. I know I did!!!

Macbeth ??

What do I think so far about macbeth I think that is an interesting play, book, story, or what ever it is, and its going to be fun t read because it caught my eye instead of theat book 1984. Although the movie has somethings that arent in the story like when the witch pulls up her dress and shows macbeth.The movie has the withes bury a hand but in the book it doesn’t say that and the spit and said a curse.I don’t like the way the movie first start off its very brutale and cowder hung himself out of mid air, and its was crazy and the sons was talking and that’s where we stopped the movie at. They wanted to kill macbeth(duncan).Although in the story everyone is going crazy over being king and after the king got killed the sone left out and then came back to kill duncan because of what he did to his father and the queen killed herself because if all the stress.Macduff kilss macbeth for the royal crown as king.The witches always maniulate macbeth mind to do something he has no business doing but when King Duncan announces that his son Malcolm will be heir to the throne, Macbeth begins to think about murder once again and he start to think real hard if he wants to killl them or not but eventually he does it.Macbeth sees an imaginary floating dagger pointing him.So far I am enjoying the book a lot . . .

Macbeth Likes/Dislikes

What I like about Macbeth is it’s not one of those boring books that have no action. It’s interesting and catches my attention. What excites me about the book is that is about a guy who believed in what three witches told him and in the end it was all lie because they basically set him up. I like the fact that he had the guts to kill Duncan, I mean he has second thoughts about it but Lady Macbeth kept encouraging him too. I also like how in the book the people are deceiving it makes it more interesting because you wouldn’t think the kings own wife would set him up. There’s nothing really that bores me yet about the book so far. I also like how Macbeth decided to kill all that he thought could be king because of what the witches mentioned to him. The book interests me allot because of all its action, I’m surprised I like it; I thought it was going to be a boring book. There’s not really much that I don’t like at least not at this very moment. I think the book is going to keep me into it because it’s a book about dishonor and action, and that’s what I’m pretty much into. I’m pretty much upset that Macbeth dies because I thought he would remain king and Lady Macbeth will remain on his side, but un fortunately she commits suicide. At the end no one got what they wanted so it really wasn’t worth it at all.

So in english were reading Macbeth by William Shakesphere. I personally like reading this book because i like his plays like Romeo and Juliet and Julius Ceasar. All his books have emotion and the words he uses are interesting to pronounce and learn because it was old time language far different from what we use today. What i dont like about the play is the way we have to act it out in class. I enjoy seeing other people doing it because its comical and makes the play more interesting. It also adds a little expressions to kind of understand how the play is being written to make it more interesting and more eye catching to the readers. Its just me who doesnt like to go in front of a class and act out of scenes or people. I prefer to read the book out loud like a narrator. Now for dislikeing the book i dont really find anything boring about it unless we read it quietly indivually because id probably get bored. i rather enjoy people acting out instead.

did winston die?

It depends what you mean by dead. Physically Winston is not dead. The author makes it seem like he died but if you listen to the reading you notice that he is not really dead, it is just that everything he believed in is gone. He is mentally dead. He stopped loving Julia. Winston finally believed that 2 + 2 = 5. And he finally, after all the fighting and rebelling, loved big brother. Even though his body is still alive and he still can continue his life, I think that he is dead inside. Or at least it is the something like that. I think this because he went through a lot to just end up believing what the party wanted him to believe in. He gave up his love just to follow big brother and save this own life. He changed his own mind set. It is like he became a new person. Like the old Winston died and he became someone new.
I think the moment Winston died was when he was in room 101. O’Brian and the party caused Wilsons death. When he put the rats around his head and got him to go against Julia, he killed him. Winston came out of that room as a new person. When he saw Julia he didn’t even act like his old self. He acted like their relationship didn’t mean anything anymore. His love for her and his life was taken in room 101. So I think he did die inside even though his body was still alive.

Blargh

I've realized recently that I have become so lethargic in my everyday life. I don't really do much outside of school/harmony. It's terrible that most of the time that I'm not at school/harmony I'm sitting in my house watching tv or on the computer. Now that I've gotten that mini rant out of my system I feel like I should tell you where I was the past two days.

Most of you don't know this, but it's extremely hard to find a job that is classified under my career program of Performing Arts. I'm exceedingly fortunate though, because while I've only had two legitimate jobs in my entire life, they were both able to be classified as Performing Arts. For the past two days I was working basckstage crew for my theatre company Mainstage's production of "To Kill a Mockingbird". I've been doing volunteer work at Mainstage for nine going on ten years now. This past summer I asked if they needed any stage crew staff for during the year, and they did. I am not a member of the Mainstage technical staff. That means I get paid!

The best part about doing tech for this particular show is that most of the time I just sit backstage doing whatever I want. The only real duties I have during the actual show are: helping the three kids up a set of stairs because campus security said we either needed a full railing on the steps or that someone had to help the kids until they got to the railing, setting chairs, and flying a black curtain in and out. All of this happens at the very beginning of Act 2; therefore, during the first act I just sit there and either finish a scarf my friend's parents commissioned from me, or playing games on my iPod.

While the pay isn't the best, it's still really good pay for the hours I put in doing the things that I do. Unfortunately this isn't a steady job because I'm only needed for the week before a play and the nights/days of the shows. That's why tomorrow I'm driving up the Six Flags Great Adventure to audition for their entire season in Entertainment. Of course when October comes around I'm going to audition for Fright Fest again, but until then I need a job that pays so I can get my drivers license because my mom can't afford to pay for my insurance so I need a steady job in order to take the test. Well, I guess that's all there is to it for now. I'll catch you on the flipside (yeah right nobody uses that phrase anymore). I'll keep you guys updated (that's better).

Music Today

Every once in a while, I find myself stopping and thinking about how music in general has changed over the decades. From Batoven to Bon Jovi, to Wagner to Skillet, I think about how we have evolved simple tones into your current favorite songs. Sometimes I think about what kind of music my parents listoned to and compair it to mine. I think it's a common and understood rule that every new generation can and will often do things that the older view as stupid or pointless. Music is one of these things, we have all heard in our lives, at some point or another, that our parents don't like our music because it's too loud, or it sends a bad message, or simply because they refuse to try anything new. While in some cases I can undersatnd their complaints (see Heavy Metal, Rap, screamo, ect.) I would like to think that some of the songs that I currently have on my Ipod would be at least tollerable for even my grandparents. Granted most of the songs I listen to are "new" but new doesn't always have to mean bad.

Drama

Well one day after school my friend introduces me to his friends. These friends are mostly girls which is perfectly ok with me. I find one of the girls attractive so i begin to talk to her. Her name was dashawna. Throughout are conversations i make her laugh and smile alot. I get the impression that she likes me. In one conversation she tells me her sister thinks I'm cute. After hearing that i was very flattered. As a couple school days pass i start to hear rumors about dashawna. People tell me that she is a nasty girl. They tell me stories about what they heard she done on the bus. Weather or not the stories were true the people were very convincing. I also did not want to get played by dashawna if she really was messing around with other guys in the school. So after thinking about it i stopped trying to be more then friends with her. I still wanted to have a girlfriend so i thought about who i wanted to try and get with. I remembered that dashawna's sister thought i was cute so i decided to pursue her. I casually walked up to her and gave her a compliment about how she looked. She smiled and asked me would i like her number. I happily said yes and put her number in my phone. I thought it was kind of wrong to go after dashawna sister but her sister destiny was to cute to turn down. I started to text destiny constantly all through out the day. The more we talked the more i saw we had in common. I already could see that she was someone id enjoy spending time with. After the weekend went by me and destiny were officially a couple. This relationship was very short because after a week I decided that she wasn't the type of person I thought she was. Now i still remain friends with dashawna and destiny.

FREEEEEE

I love free writes just to start off this bloggggg post, actually the whole blogging thing is pretty fun, and a very good idea by mr smith. But back to the free write, i kind of cant wait to graduate though the thought of having to do everything bymself soon sort of depresses me, i guess the way things just change is pretty drastic but im going to have to get used to it. The thought is pretty wild though, even for someone who has there life more figured out then i do, i know i cannot be the only individual graduating this year that feels this way. Well i think im going to attend community college next year for two years then go to a four year college. Now that is something that i am deffinatly looking foward to, which is exactly why i plan on absolutely killlin it at bcc or ccc next year, other then thst i feel like its just overwhelming right now, especially when your chasing dreams and you just feel like doing nothing but be with your friends and cherish every moment you have because you know soon enough these days are gonig to be gone.

Im so excited we have four more months of high school left. Im so proud to say that I have finally made it this far in life. This summer will definitely be the best summer ever.I have so many things happening to me. In April my brothers girlfriend is having a baby boy, that will be my first nephew. We are all excited about that. Having a new baby around the house is not easy but I really love children so to me thats just great. A week after my nephew gets here I will be ready for our senior prom and a week after senior prom I will be the big 18. My birthday is May 6th im really excited about all these things that are coming up. The most important thing that I am really excited about is graduation day that will be the best day of my life because these twelve years of all my hard work and effort will finally pay off. I will soon be living the college life that everyone in my family always wanted me to reach. I cant wait to see the look on my families face as they watch me graduate. The best feeling ever is knowing that you have a bunch of people that our really proud of all your accomplishments. After I graduate my gift from my mom and dad will be my very first car. My mom is very nervous about me being on my own and the fact that I will be 18 and independent going off to college even though she is proud of me I know deep down inside she wants me to stay with her forever. I'll be back to visit her and the rest of my family memebers from time to time but the college life is definitely calling my name! It is very important that I complete my years in college so that I can get the career I have always want since I was Younger, and that is working in a daycare and then opening up my own day care center.

I can't wait until June 8th, the day I graduate from high school. I only have 4 more months left to go until my summer starts. This summer I will be turning 18 (happy face). I want to have a big birthday bash. I am trying to save up now to book a hall or something. I am really going to do it big for my 18th birthday. I also plan on going to California with my boyfriend sometime in July. I am going down there to meet his dad side of the family. We are taking an airplane down there, I am not a big fan of airplanes. I been on an airplane once and I was so scared. I hate the feeling of my ears popping. When we get down there I am going to be so nervous because I am not a people person, but I know that he will make me feel comfortable. They seem like nice people to get along with anyway.

This will be my first time going down there. I am anxious to know how it will be down there. I wanna get a taste of a new environment. They say that it gets real hot down there, and I am not really a fan of heat. I know that I'm gonna have a good time though. When I'm with him we always have good times together.

I have no clue on what we're gonna do when we return back to Jersey, but I know I'm going to have alot of fun this summer, because it's the summer before i go to college. I can't wait to become a college student. I am really gonna make the best of my college days. I want to become a RN. I am going to work so hard so I can just get it done and over with. I am not wasting any time in college. I did to much of that in my high school days.

My Bronco part ll

Well I have my Bronco back and I am so excited about it. I might have said this in my last free write so if I did I am sorry. I need to put my new radio in it still and also i got to vacum it out again because it was vacummed before but then i got my sisters dogs and took them in the woods and they got all muddy and i got to clean up the seats. I also got to get some carpet cleaner in it as well. I love to drive to school but the gas is a killer. Thank god it isnt that much on gas but last week i filled it up from a quater tank to almost a full tank and it costed me 65$! So now I love having my truck back and i go wheeling in it alot and its just fun. i love my truck. this summer im going to take off the top and it will be fun. By the summer it is going to have a 6" suspension lift with 36" tires i just cant wait for the summer to get here. On Wednesday I left school early to go up to Patterson, NJ. I went to go visit a college called William Paterson University, or in other words Willy P. The college was two hours and 30 minutes away. When we got there, it was well worth it though. The school was very big, and was like a new place as soon as you stepped inside. I was very pleaased with the visit, also as soon as I got there they gave me a application fee waiver for fifty dollars! That made me very happy because that was more money that could stay in my pocket. We did a lot of walking, the school had to be about four or five miles around. They had a big spaciaous all you can eat buffet open from 8 am to 10 pm , they had a big workout room, they had nice dorms, and a great big track and sports gymnasium. One thing I was really interested in seeing was their science lab, because that’s where I will be spending the majority of my time since I will be majoring in Pharmacy. There were a lot of students walking around and they smiled and seemed rather friendly to everybody that walked by. I applied, so hopefully they will accept me because this college is number one on my list. Its nice, big, and not too far from home. I hope one day I can say I attended William Paterson University.

Did You Think Winston Died In 1984?

Finally, someone who interpreted it the way I did! It seems like everyone I've talked to either said the ending was stupid, they didn't get it, or it was boring, and most people hold to the idea that he wasn't killed. I disagree. I don't think the bullet entering his brain was a literal bullet, but I do think it has the potential to be literal, depending on how one interprets the paragraph. For me, the last line in the book, "He loved Big Brother," is the part that that makes me think he was killed.I think the book ends with "He loved Big Brother" because Winston himself ends when "he loves Big Brother". If you remember, there was a part explaining how it's not beneficial for the Party to kill people who hate Big Brother, because those people would be martyrs. Martyrs make people think they make people question the events surrounding the death and the Party can't have that. They can't have the other people looking up to,or fighting for the same reasons as the martyrs,and so the Party detains the prisoners for the extent that is necessary until the prisoner is broken. Once he or she loves Big Brother, truly loves him, then he or she is no longer a threat to the established order and can be disposed of.Once Winston truly loved Big Brother,they killed him.So I believed that he wasn’t killed in 1984 so everyone stop telling lies please and thank you !!!..

When I Graduate From CCTS !!

When i graguate from ccts i might go off to college or join the air force of the navy because my cousin said the marines and army goes to war the most and i dont want to go to war at all i dont want to die lol.Although i do want to go off to college to get my degrees,and go for early childhood.But i am really unsure at this point got excepted into a school but i am not sure i want to go their because its so far away from home.My mom wants me to go to camden county but i said no because everyone goes their i aint do 12yrs of school to go to a crapy school and settle for less lol but i want to go away,and have a lot of challenges put in my way.But my guidance counselor said to go to college and seee how it is and if i dont like it can always come back but i dont see whats the point of me going down there when i really dont want to cause i am going to miss my family and friends.Eventhough when i get down there i am going to make new friends and share our different worlds and bond together but the point pof me leaving my family but everything will work out one i guess but i think i am going to go off to college see how things are and if i dont like it ima pack up and come back home but ms.teitjen said it was the best four years of her life so i am going tp give it a try.

After, finishing up the book by George Orwell, 1984 I personally, have some questions about what happened toward the ending of the bbok. The end of the book starts off by Julia and Winston in the room. While, in the room they both are looking at the window saying, "We are the dead," then all of a sudden something repeats back to them saying ,"yes, you are the dead." The voice came from behind the painting that was on the floor in the room Winston and Julia secretly stayed in. Once, both Winston and Julia realize that there was a telescreen in the room the whole time they both freeze, not knowing how to react. Then, the thought police busted through the room arresting both Winston and Julia. The thought police was hitting Julia and Winston felt so bad because all he could do was watch them keep hitting her the way she did. Next, Winston was knocked unconscience. When he woke up he was in a cell. Once, in the cell he knew he had to be in the ministry of love. While, in the cell Parson came in accused of thoughtcrime. Parson's daughter turned him in to the thought police when she heard him talking in his sleep. While talking in his sleep he was saying, "Down With Big Brother." When he was in the cell parson was in the cell telling Winston that does not fault his own daughter for what she did because she was just doing what was right. When Parson found out that he was being sent to room 101 he was so scared and depressed that he was being sent to that room. In Room 101, the party intellectuals and the thought poice use your biggest fears against you.

Summer time is my favorite season of them all for lots of reasons. Let me start off by saying that my birthday is in june which means I have alot of fun, and since im so spoiled I get a lot. I also love summer time because I like to go out swimming, on vaction, tanning and hanging out with friends. See in the winter you cant do all that all you can really do is stay warm well Im speaking for myself because in the winter I do not like to go out anywhere. I hate the cold seriously Id like to live somewhere tropical. Im never home in the summer Im always out having a good time, I know alot of people with pools and always having something so since I like swimming Im always over there. Theres so many things I like to do in the summer I love walking on the beach and just enjoying the nice breeze that you get. I also love taking pictures of everywhere fun I go. This summer Im going to Puerto Rico and I cant wait, I love it there. My unlce always rents jeskis and boats. Also the food there is great I mean my grandma can cook but the food there when you go to restaurants and stuuf is just great. I love Puerto Rico its paradise oout there for me, my whole family lives so closse to eachother that its walking distance no need for a car. This summer I plan on getting my tan on because last year I didnt and Im tired of being pale. I hope all goes well as usaul because I plan to have a great time.

Yesterday i was really happy because i talk to my brother & puerto rico i having seen him for 7 years but i hope to see him soon because i going to surprise my brother & my father the i miss so much my dad i having seen him for 10 years. today is friday and it sucks. two days ago my pfone fell out of my pocket on the bus supposidly and ever since then i couldnt find it.im still pretty pissed off about it and hope it shows up by today. me and m friend shawn and cory had plans to go camping for the night down by the lake side,but that has been canceled because we lost the tent.we are hoping to find something to do today before it gets too late and we dont have the car to drive around in.if i didnt lose my phone today would be soo much better then it is.i realy wish i didnt lose it. sigh the last few days just sucked in general even before i lost my phone.today isnt really all that bad outside so i would really wanna atleased go out somewhere,anywhere really.sigh all i really want to do is find my phone or hope someone turned it in.

A movie and a song both are good to me.To me I like the song better I use to sing it everyday then once a week after that once a month and now once in a while. So I'm gonna make my version of Friday. But my version of that song of Friday will be so messd up that you'll be surprised what I go through everyday.

Did Winston Die?????

After re-reading the last paragraph of 1984 I've come to the conclusion that Winston does in fact die. However, I don't think that his body is no longer alive and kicking (if that makes any sense).

I think that Winston as an individual is completely and utterly dead. There is no way he could ever be brought back into the world of the story. His body is still doing everything that the Party requires it to do. In reality the main reason the Ministry of Love exists is to "re-educate" the thought criminals. If the re-education goes according to plan the thought criminal will eventually love Big Brother. Once a thought criminal truly loves Big Brother he isn't really the same person.

Therefore, if we think about it that way Winston's spirit has been crushed and mangled to such a degree that his spirit isn't really him anymore. Winston as a "controlled-thinking" (cause they can't think freely) individual has basically been vaporized from his own body. Sure the bag of bones that once contained Winston's soul still goes about its daily life. One might say that the frame of a person going about daily life without a proper soul is immoral and unethical, but that's what the Party wants from its members.

Personally I think that Winston was basically turned into a "zombie". He was basically killed by the Party, yet they would still see him everyday for the rest of his body's mortal life. He would be a listless, and unappreciative of everything in his life. Anyway that's my personal opinion on whether or not Winston dies at the end of 1984

no i do not think that winston dies winston is in a mind state that he make be drunk from the gin that he drank and hes conffessing everything to the teller screen or who evers in the ministry of love with him it seems to e that winston was in a state of denial that he loves big brother and the thoughts of the thought police or big brother that the teller screen has reapeatedly repeated back has brain washed him

Did Winston die?

My answer: yes and no. He did not in the literal sence, her heart is still beating and his brain is functioning normally. However, part of himself has died, the part that saw what the party was doing, what horrible crimes against their own race they are commiting. They forced him to abandon all sence of morality, or consern for others. They made him think that it's only Big Brother that is keeping bad things from happening to him, when the reality is they are the ones causing bad things to happen. The part of Winston that saw all these things IS dead. Although I do think that another part of him sees what he has become and wishes he was dead.

In the novel 1984 by George Orwell, we are introduced to a lot of different things that are not very common for a book, especially one form this time period. And no I'm not talking about the every day difference that are found in a book like a large cast of charters, a lot of different settings, and or the use of different conflicts. No, George Orwell stuck to a small cast of important charters and one main setting, but what was so different about this book was not only was it written with a symbolic political meaning. It uses a large number of different themes that do not change form chapter to chapter like seen in other novels, but stick with the book form start to finish. Not only was Orwell able to use so many different themes he was able to make them all co inside with one another to really get his thoughts on the political movement of his time, which was the idea of Communism, across in a very symbolic way.

Winstons Death.

In my personal opinion, at the end of the story 1984 Winston Smith is slowly being tortured and brought into a real Big Brother lifestyle, as in now, he "lovees" Big Bro, but he was rain washed so in the end, everyone has to be exactly the same no matter what position they are in or how they feel about the party, whether they decide to follow the steps of an average party member or an anti party memeber or even a prole, well, at the end of the story, Winston does look into the sky and says "I love Big Brother" but then again, Winston did love making up stories !

Does Winston DIE

In my opinion I believe Winston dies. In the end of the book he did seem like he was understanding big brother. I thought he was falling in love with the party. But I don't believe that the love was real. Throughout the book when he and Julia were breaking the rules and not acting like they the party would have liked them to act. They had sexual encounters they went places they did not need to be. But most of all their thoughts were what really made them act out of the big brother way. They hated big brother. Hate is a strong word. Hate is one of them most deepest feelings a human being can have for a certain person place or thing. Winston had this hate and i don't believe it just went anyway. I don't believe him being tortured got rid of his hate. Him being tortured just made him get a reality check. He understood that big brother is truly always watching him. During the story he saw the poster but didn believe them. He knew he was breaking the rules but he never got the feeling of how serious the consequences are. After being in room 101 he got a better feeling for what they want him to do. He was scared to death because he had to face is most hated fear. I think the rats and big brother are the two things he hates the most. That time the rats won but his hate for big brother can always come back. Like he said he tried to bottle up his hated for big brother. If the story was to continue i believe all his bottled up feelings would explode out into his life. He his thoughts and actions would get him killed!!!

I do not think winston dies. The reason why i dont think winston dies is because now he belives in big brother and now they wont kill him. But I think his inner self is dead because they made him belive into big brother. They basically brained washed him into being a new person. But even though they changed him he could go back into loving julia or doing think crimes because you cant change a person fully. They can always do what they wanna do as long as big brother doesnt know. So basically they can always do whatever they want to. So this is what i think about winston being dead or not i think that he isnt dead he is just a changed person that now has to follow the rules because if he dont then he wouldbe killed. I am not use if winston died beacuse am reading the story and am not understanding if he died or not in the story just because the story was to hard to understand at the end. But I think he didn’t die, why I say that just because I feel as thought he was cuared by room 101 they both admit that the betrad to each other and big brother won also. Does Winston Die?

No Winston does not die at the end of the story 1984. The writer of this story tries to add a twist maybe to try and make the novel more interesting or keep the readers attention. The only way you'll know if he really dies or not is if you pay close attention the details. This is a way to make sure that your readers are focus on what they are reading. If the reader doesn't stay focus on the story then most likely they will miss the main part. Anyway Winston doesn't go through death instead he dies mentally. Everything he believed in is now dead. He doesn't really have a mind of his own anymore. Everything that happened throughout this novel such as the BIG BROTHER posters every where , the telescreens not only watching him but listening to everything he did in his spare time, the thought police spying on him so he never really had time for him self. The one person he believed in named Julia he couldn't even spend time with her with out anyone watching their every move. They always had to sneak around. All his thoughts that he had been holding in he had to write them in a journal. On top of all this he had the party which was trying to force this in his mind like trying to get him to agree that 2+2=5. All these events made him lose his mind. He was completely done with everything he was overwhelmed.

I don’t think Winston died because he gave up all of his rights that he had and gave up all of his unequal thoughts. So they wanted Winston to confess and wanted him to be under mind control but at first it seemed to not work on him until they took him in room 101 and they supposed to know everyone biggest fear so they bought out Winston fear in that is rats. It seemed to work and over power Winston since he couldn’t overcome his biggest fear. So I think the government thought about the situation that Winston have been in and though about putting Winston into go use like he was different from everyone by not feeding in to big brother power and had little strategies to over power big brother plans so I think that they use him as an thought police or have him gain upper power with the government for no one else could try to do what Winston did. Winston could be one of the decision makers or be a big think for what big brother could do next to gain more control over the people mind. Or when Winston admit and gave up to be down with big brother to live but then he join and give up Julia so he can get people attention that’s and the big brother party and out talk people out of the mind control that they are under. For he can be a big hero that history will have to write in the books and win his love over with Julia.

When people dis-obey big brother or when people can not conceive a child inside their marriage they get taken to a place where no one knows where they are. Big brother just tries to wipe them out of the city. I think Winston was taken away somewhere, but mentally he is dead because no one knows where he is and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know anybody where he is at. However, he is happy because he is basically away from big brother and not always under his watch and doing the same thing everyday. When he cried I believe that they were sweet tears of joy because he was away from everything, even though he had to do something bad to get there. Maybe, in this place Winston is at, they might actually end up killing him in the future. Its very hard to tell, but as of right now I think he is still alive and well. He might also think he’s away from big brother, but big brother may still control him through his “people”. So, I believe Winston is not dead physically, but mentally he is dead from his little town.

no, he doesnt die . he wished someone would just kill him and put a bullet through his head. at the end of the book he had to give up julia and the only thing he had left was big brother. so he made a choice to love big brother since thats all he had left in his life. no one was there for him and no one would be there for him so al he has is big brother even though thats not something he wanted in the beginning, thats what happened at the end. but as i was saying in the beginning of the paragraph winston does not die. he is still going to live. eventhough he wishes he could die or someone would shoot him in the head he will still live.
