When The Rain Came

Lakshmi smelled the rain before it fell. She felt the grow heavy like roti dough. that's crazy she could know when the rain coming before it hit the ground. I wish i know when the rain it would help me alot. She said the first few droplets vanished in the dust. Then the bigger drops fell,fat and ripe, exploding the earth. Tali the goat wanted the rain so he csn get some water. Then trickly of muddy water came hoppin down the gully. Rain was coming but Lakshmi could hide inside the rain.
