THE DIFFERENTCE BETWEEN A SON AND A DAUGTHER...

In the story called "SOLD" is a vignette , between son and a daugther. But i dont get it at all why the daugther had to do everything the her husban. "In the story the father said the a son always willl be a son but the girl is like a goat , good as long as she gives you milk and butter." But not worth crying over whent its time to make a stew. I really dont know what he really mean about that. If is the boys get what they want or they just work hard for us woman. I wonder how he will feel if he was a woman because i dont think the this is right at all is not fair.. Anyways woman work hard to because man without woman what they came do with their life....
