i think that that saying is just their to make people think they can come here an be free.but then when they get here its a mess. everything just is to much you have to go an get a visa an you must have some one who has already been here for atless a year because they have to sign for you to get it.then when you think its al over you have to take a dna test just to make sure that its you.you also have to go an get your green card but they should aprove of you getting that after you get your visa.an handy cap people most likely wont get in,my personal opinion is that everyone should be able to get in the usa FREE AN LIVE THE LIFE THAT WE LIVE.because if i were a immagrant i would want that same freedom.

But now in america it means nothing to them. It just wroting on the state of liberty tablet. Because if it did mean something they would let mexican come to america. all of us mexican want is to support are family and give them a better furter. Is American Still Open To Immigrants?

some americans are still open to immigrant because their country really dont have things in their country food or things to drink they cant found work in  its hard to pay bills in its hard to get a home for their familys they really do nt have a good edu and their clothes are dusty and others

america isnt completely open to immigrants because people must do a whole bunch of cpmlicated stuff just to become "legal" in america. they have to go through many sterps and cmplicated work and spend a lot of money just to make it here.it isnt right what our country does or other counties just so people can come into another country and live,or even visit. america says were open to immigrants when were kinda not. its wrong because this country was found by europeans or "immigrants" and they took the land of the natives by force,so why is it so difficult for immigrants to get into america.

No you have to do alot be4 you are able to become a citizen uin the us. You have to get a visa and a green card to become a leagal us citizen. The process takes a very long time. You have to have work in the us and have a place to stay. When you get here it might be a hard time to find a place to work becides your a gas station or open your own corner store. You might get miss treated and looked down apon because you are diffrent and not from here. The us does not want illeagal imagrants

It is not free to move to america because there would be alot of people coming over here and taking america citizens jobs homes and life's if they keep on coming over to america and it is not fear to any of the america's that live here.

The immagrant policy in this country is a wierd relationship. The immagrants get into a bunch of leagal and illeagal ways to the country.

amaerica says we will take the poor and the tired.well we do and the only problem was that we dont know if we could trust them cause of all  the drugs and guns and uncut stuff so allot of people just come here to start or blow atuff up like 9 11 it was not good.because allot of people died that day  and it was like hitting a merica rite in the hart so we are verry hate full and people like destroy eachother 85 and we the people of usa are like hell no we cant trust them so 100 as we cant trust them allot of immigrants try to jump or dig threw the border lines ao there for that we just shoot them or hurt them so wee need to find an escape way we mwke that we need a backround check and a visa card so  then they just get sitizen ship so america is open but not all the way we are a beftfriend who wont let u in our house

What i learnd about immigration is that its not a good thing but if you really live a hard life in mexico that they want to come to USA to have a better life and to give there kids what there could not have. But for me its just called life . everyone is from a different country or city or others place in so people go through a lot to not just mexican people. so alot of people shoulld be able to come here to america on good terms and it shud be easy not so hard though. my english nis teacher is an immergrant i dident evan know he was.

The poem "give me your poor, your tired your weak; Your huddled masses yearning to be free" this meaning was about the people, a new begaining for immigrants and there way of life in American. Over the last two hundred years this poem seem to be true, but in the now of 2012 it doesn't seem to be as simple as it use too. Now it more about words then action. We the people of United States don't look at immigrats the same as "human beings", we look at them as some type of lower life form. I bet if the people of the U.S could step in we would shut down the system. but that what i think, the meaning of this poem lost it power it meaning. But it okay, because people wants to believe that there some type of help or hope. that the way as us humans want to think. we really dont look at reality we try to look at the smaller picture other then looking that the bigger way of picture of life.

And what i think about that is that america is not the same as it used to be. America in my oppinion has turn very selfish. i say that because America now dosent allow anyone they only allow immigrents that have a green card. But they dont change the quote couse beep some where people still trying to make it change to how it used to be before. So that is what i think about that quote and the reasion why they havent changed it.

We just dont take everyone we take the best of the best. Being over populated is a big thing not enough materials for everyone to have. The stauscew of liberty wasnt made in america in the first place .

What i learn about immigration.....

What i had learn this past weeks about immigration the it's a really hard situation because they had to go  throughout a lot for the can't be immigrants. I also think the some of the immigrants come to the U.S to find better job's in support their family such as their self. But not all immigrants come for finding just job's but to make a better person then self, but we shouldn't  trust every immigrant because they may are not saying the true the why they are here for. Some of then are really want to be illegal because they cared of their family & want the best for then at all times & their self thats why they cross the board to another state. In for sample i wach this tv show about immigration went is immigrants leaving in another state & this man the he is a illegal in the U.S come to there house to see how they leave in go through a lot of stuff ,because they had kids the was illegal in the state but not then self in the 2 other kids in it's very hard for them to leave a life like that because the had to go throughout a lot this past years & everyday the comes by.The guy the went to stay with then he did't want immigrants in that state or anywhere alse, because for him it was't fear the his parents had it go through all that. At want point like he agreed about immigrants coming to another country but at the sametime he was't sure about his dession.
